DAYTONA BEACH, FL – The ThunderBirds will begin broadcasting a weekly radio show at Houligans Irish Sports Pub at Destination Daytona in Ormond Beach on Monday, May 5 at 6:00 pm.  Houligans is located at 1643 US HWY 1 North.  The show will run from 6:00 pm – 6:30 pm and will be hosted by Head Coach Gary Compton and radio play-by-play announcer Frank Irizarry.  The show will broadcast live from the restaurant and be carried by official broadcast partner WROD, 1340 AM.

“This show is a great way to meet and speak with ThunderBirds fans,” said Compton.  “Broadcasting it live adds an extra fun dimension to the show.”

The ThunderBirds also expect to have players as well as members of the Dance team present to interact with fans and to give away ThunderBirds related merchandise and game tickets.  The show will run every Monday throughout the remainder of the 2008 af2 season.  This promises to be a fun event for the whole family.
